Health and safety? How to get there? Visas?
Botswana is one of the best fly-in safari destinations where you can experience and come across the wild of Africa. It is where nature lovers flock to create the best moments in life. It is relatively easy to connect to Botswana with daily flights to Maun from Johannesburg or Cape Town in South Africa.
Citizens of the majority of Commonwealth Countries as well as most North and Latin American territories are eligible to stay in Botswana for up to 90 days within a 12 month period. Visitors must provide a passport with 3 or more blank pages and a validity of at least 6 months on the day of entry. Please contact us for further information.
Although Botswana is a very stable and safe country, you have to take some precautions before you travel:
It is recommended to take antimalarial medicine if you are going to the northern part of the country. Although the chances of contracting the disease are low, malaria is prevalent in this region.
Also, if you are coming from countries where yellow fever is endemic, you have to show proof of the yellow fever vaccination card.
NOVEMBER 2019: IMPORTANT UPDATE: MINORS ACCOMPANIED BY ONE PARENT

Nevertheless, the policy was dropped on 8th November 2019. It is no longer necessary to provide any documents for a child to enter the country.
