I have lived for seven years in some of the most remote and unique Safari camps. I am motivated by the culture, people, wilderness, stars, sounds and smells. There is so much you can learn and cherish about those incredible moments! Are you ready for Safari?

I first visited the Mother Continent in 2003 as some of my family members lived in South Africa and that was my first Safari experience! I could not believe the extraordinary beauty and considered myself lucky which made me decide what path to take after finishing school and I knew one thing: Africa had to be included in all plans!

After getting my Tourism Management Diploma I headed to the enigmatic island of Zanzibar where my African journey began. This was the beginning of the life I had dreamt of. I was managing one of the most characterful boutique hotels in the island, learnt my first Swahili words and spent my days off diving and sailing discovering unspoiled white sand beaches. I devoted myself to African culture and never looked back, to make it my home!

I moved to the Western Cape in South Africa a couple of years later that hosts whales, great white sharks, seals, wild flowers, scrumptious food and their World-Class wines!

Before I could settle, the real adventure knocked on my door: Botswana and it's vast wilderness meant I had to pack my bags, yet again! I managed some of the most iconic safari camps in the country and visited so many others, have a 1001 stories of animal encounters which I hope to tell my grandchildren sitting by the fire under the African skies.

I was able to reconnect with myself and nature and I consider this is without any doubt my biggest accomplishment - we only live once and are to enjoy every moment of it.

I have traveled through numerous countries of Africa and cannot ever have enough of its immensity, I visited unspoiled beaches, saw the impressive Gorillas, climbed up to see lava lakes, visited the hottest inhabitable place on earth. To add, the source of the Nile, unbeatable landscapes, deserts and jungles, swam and dove with whale sharks and went cage diving with great white sharks, pampered myself in some of the best spas, felt like an explorer in Victoria Falls. Is that all? No, I followed David Livingstone's steps through the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana. felt mesmerized by the Okavango Delta and so spoiled in the Safari Camps. Spent time with the Koi-San Bushmen, the Himbas, the Afar people, the Maasai and some of the millions of people that make Africa so unique.

A passion developed in me for this continent and it’s hidden gems, the wildlife and the pristine wilderness. Something of utmost importance to me is the protection and good management of wildlife areas and we ensure that every establishment we are visiting is contributing and involved in community and/or conservation projects.

This is how Wolf Travels Africa came into inception– my aim is to share the best kept secrets with all of you as well as ensuring that together we protect the local communities and the pristine wilderness areas of Africa for our future generation!

"Now, looking back on my life in Africa, I feel like it might altogether be described as the existence of a person who had come from a rushed and noisy world, into a still country."

Karen Blixen, Out of Africa
