When to go?

With more than 300 days of sunshine per year, there is no best time to visit Namibia. However, wildlife viewing would be more comfortable during the dry days from May to October. That is the time the animals come into rough contact with each other at the waterhole as they try to catch the last drop of water. June, July and August can get pretty cold during the night and early mornings, you will require a warm winter jacket. During September and October it can get pretty hot

From roughly November to April is the rainy season. Rains are not every day and tend to be short in the afternoons, it should not disrupt the activities.
